Artist`s Statement: Art has always been a part of my life. From a young age, in which I drew. (My father discovered the drawings I had made, and sent them to JP Stevens Fabric Company, where they were used on several products)  Most of my jobs included some form of art.  Even now, I am currently working in the Architectural/Structural field. Where, I am able to use the freedom of expression in contemporary and abstract art by combining my love of structures, with my love of painting.

I began my studies at Dorothy Cannon’s Art Studio, in Studio City, California in (insert date), I have since then studied at various colleges and museums, in many subjects, such as Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Water Colors and Architectural Drafting. In 2006, I was diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome; a perceptual processing disorder.  To overcome this, I attempt to incorporate more intense colors into my paintings. (Although to be honest, it’s more comforting at times to return to the softer, earthier versions of them.)
